easyJet APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE easyJet plc announced that Andrew Harrison (48) has been selected as Chief Executive of the company, following the announcement on 16 May that Ray Webster would be retiring. FEFC October Notice The Member Lines of the FEFC wish to advise Shippers:- Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) The BAF application for the month of October 2005 will be USD 230.00 per TEU/USD 11.50 W/M LCL. Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF) The CAF applicable for the month of October 2005 will be +6.2%. |
Indonesia - FEFC Indonesia THC The Indonesia tax office intends to apply a 10% VAT on Pelindo III (including ports of Semarang and Surabaya) for all port charges and stevedoring. As such, Member Lines of the FEFC wish to advise that if the 10% VAT is implemented, we will have to increase the Indonesia Terminal Handling Charge (THC) for these ports by the same amount from USD 150/230 per 20’/40’ to USD 165/250 per 20’/40’. The increase will be applied to other ports, if and when a similar application of VAT applies.

St. Petersburg - FEFC Congestion Surcharge on Reefer Equipment at St. Petersburg Member Lines of the FEFC wish to inform customers, that congestion at the port of St. Petersburg is resulting in increased container storage cost being incurred. This extra storage cost is particularly high for reefer equipment where additional expenses such as electricity supply/monitoring have to be met. Therefore, with effect 5th September 2005 until further notice, for Reefer Containers moving into/out of St. Petersburg, a Congestion Surcharge of USD 275/Reefer Container will apply. |
